UIPS’ pupil tops the International Benchmark Test in English in the Middle East |

 Jireh Eunice Flores, Grade 5 pupil from the United International Private School (UIPS) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates had outdone the performance of other Grade 5 pupils in English all over Middle East. She was given an "International Benchmark Test Award for Excellence in English" for achieving the highest score in English in Grade 5. The exam evaluates the pupils' skills in reading comprehension, vocabulary and grammar.

The winners were shorlisted from a total of 222 entries in both categories, and chosen by the panel of judges from the government, academe and media.
The formal awarding for the literary competition will be held during the closing ceremonies of 10th Conference of Philippine Schools Overseas on 04 May 2012 at the MO2 Westown Hotel and Convention Center in Iloilo City, Philippines.
