10th Conference of Philippine Schools Overseas to be held in Iloilo City PDF Print E-mail

The Inter-Agency Committee on Philippine Schools Overseas (IACPSO) is all set to hold its 10th Conference at the MO2 Westown Hotel and Convention Center in Iloilo City from May 2 to 5, 2012.

About 75 representatives from 31 Philippine schools in China, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Libya, Oman, and United Arab Emirates are expected to attend.

UIPS’ pupil tops the International Benchmark Test in English in the Middle East PDF Print E-mail

uipsJireh Eunice Flores, Grade 5 pupil from the United International Private School (UIPS) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates had outdone the performance of other Grade 5 pupils in English all over Middle East. She was given an "International Benchmark Test Award for Excellence in English" for achieving the highest score in English in Grade 5. The exam evaluates the pupils' skills in reading comprehension, vocabulary and grammar.

The Inter-Agency Committee on Philippine Schools Overseas is pleased to inform the PSOs of the winners of the 4th Annual Literary Contest in celebration of the Buwan ng Wika 2011(Fable Writing):

The winners were shorlisted from a total of 222 entries in both categories, and chosen by the panel of judges from the government, academe and media.

The formal awarding for the literary competition will be held during the closing ceremonies of 10th Conference of Philippine Schools Overseas on 04 May 2012 at the MO2 Westown Hotel and Convention Center in Iloilo City, Philippines.
